These Terms apply to aussiesmate.com and purchases from Aussie’s Mate. By using the store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with our Shipping & Delivery, Returns & Refunds and Privacy policies.

About the store

Aussie’s Mate is an Australia-focused retailer of dog-enrichment, feeding, walking, travel, play and related accessories. Some goods are dispatched directly by third-party fulfilment partners. Aussie’s Mate remains responsible for its obligations to customers.

Eligibility and account security

You must be able to enter a binding contract or use the store with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. You are responsible for accurate account information and for keeping login credentials secure.

Product information and responsible use

We work to present accurate titles, images, colours, dimensions, materials, compatibility, care and safety information. Screen display and manufacturing batches can produce minor non-material variations. We will not knowingly substitute a materially different product without agreement.

Choose products suitable for your dog, follow the product page and supplied instructions, supervise use, inspect before each use and stop if damaged. No product is indestructible. Store content is general shopping information and is not veterinary, nutritional, behavioural or other professional advice.

Orders and acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not prevent us from cancelling and refunding an order for genuine stock unavailability, an unserviceable address, suspected fraud, an obvious pricing error or another lawful reason. We will not accept payment where we know, or should know, the goods cannot be supplied as promised.

Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes and charges are shown as required. Payment is processed by Shopify and available payment providers under their own secure terms.

Availability, fulfilment and delivery

Stock and delivery estimates can change. Products may be sent by different fulfilment partners and arrive separately. Please allow 10–25 business days from order confirmation for standard delivery. If we cannot supply within the stated or a reasonable time, we will provide an appropriate solution.

Cancellations, returns and consumer guarantees

Contact us immediately for a cancellation or address change; it may not be possible after processing begins. Returns and remedies are governed by our Returns & Refunds page and Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any limitation in these Terms applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Website use

You must not misuse the store, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape or interfere with the service, impersonate another person, submit unlawful or deceptive content, infringe rights, or use the store for an unlawful purpose.

Reviews and submitted content

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting a review or other content for publication, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format and display it for store and marketing purposes. Do not submit confidential information or content you do not have the right to share. We may moderate content for legality, relevance, safety, spam or authenticity.

Intellectual property

The Aussie’s Mate name, branding, original text, graphics, layout and other store content are owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied or commercially used without permission, except as law permits.

Third-party services and links

The store uses third-party services for hosting, payments, accounts, reviews, fulfilment, tracking and other functions. External sites have their own terms and privacy practices. This does not remove our responsibility for goods sold by Aussie’s Mate or rights that cannot be excluded.

Service changes

We may maintain, improve, suspend or discontinue store features and update these Terms. Changes apply from publication and do not retrospectively remove rights arising from an existing order.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia and applicable Commonwealth law. Nothing prevents a consumer from using rights available in another Australian jurisdiction.
